Facebook & Instagram Ads

In the world of online paid ads, Facebook & Instagram Ads are generally the most lucrative for Travel Agents. HOWEVER, Facebook & Instagram Ads are generally NOT the best lead source for most travel agents. We HIGHLY recommend that you don’t start experimenting with Facebook or Instagram Ads until you have at least 2 other lead sources in place that are working for you because it takes more time and money to crack the code on paid ads then other lead sources.

So start with lead sources that are easier, faster and cheaper (we gave you a list of them in Module 23). Once you’ve got at least two other lead sources in place that are working well for you, if you then want to dive into the world of Facebook & Instagram Ads and can spend at least $10 a day, follow the instructions below.

Here in this module we cover all of the basics that you need to know, understand and implement.

Heidi’s hubby, Farukh, created this training for you. In case you’re not yet familiar with him, he manages over 10 million dollars of online ads (primarily Facebook) per year for his clients. Many internet marketing gurus consult with him on their campaigns, and he speaks at high-level mastermind events. Basically, he’s the go-to guy because he knows how to get exceptional results. So you are learning from the best of the best. 🙂

This checklist can either be saved to your computer and filled out on your computer or you can print it and fill it out with pen/pencil. It’s helpful to have it in front of you while you go through the training video to take notes and as you set up your ads.

We HIGHLY recommend that you create two different squeeze pages to send your ad traffic to.

#1 – A landing page (squeeze page) that features your IFO.

#2 – A landing page that features your free consultation pitch.

Then split test them to see which one gets the best conversions.

INSTAGRAM ADS

Video ads on Instagram need to be one minute or less, unlike Facebook where they can be up to two minutes long. Plus, shorter videos are easy to create and are a great way to quickly captivate your audience. Grab your smartphone and make short videos to tell your business story with these simple tips:

RESOURCES

This module is fairly basic overview meant to get you started using Facebook ads. Buying Facebook ads is a nuanced process that you need to be committed to learning and staying up to date on in order to succeed. We will keep this training module up to date as major changes happen. That said, Facebook changes its policies and algorithms on a fairly regular basis, and they don’t always announce exactly what changes they’ve made, and more importantly, what that means for ad buyers. If you are investing money in Facebook ads, make sure you regularly visit Facebook policies and ad guides for the most up to date information.

What To Do If You’re Ads Aren’t Converting

If your ads aren’t converting into clients, most likely one of these three things is the problem.

👉 Your audience
Your ads are directed at too many people at once.
The idea of casting a wide net so you “don’t leave anybody out”, creates confusion, leads to a weak offer, and it makes it very challenging to target.

When you write your ad, write it to one very specific segment of your niche and their desired outcome. Also, with the level of noise on social media, the ONLY way to stand out, is to target and speak to a specific sector of your market.

👉 Your offer
Are you offering something your audience wants?
You should be split testing ads – one that promotes your IFO and one that promotes your free consult to see which one is the winner. If neither of them are converting, then look at those offers.
Is your IFO something your ideal clients REALLY want? Is your free consult pitch resonating with them?
Are your offers CRYSTAL CLEAR?
If…
you don’t have a great offer,
or your offer is not clear,
or your offer is something your audience doesn’t want…
… then you need to go back to the drawing board and think of something that is VERY appealing to your ideal prospective client and will make them want to take action now.

👉 Your Copy & Your Design
What are you saying on your landing page page? Is it clear and easy to understand what you can do for them and what the next step for them to take is?
Too often I see ads that try to be too clever, too “cutesie”. More often than not those gets lost.

On Facebook, You only have about 3 seconds to gets someone attention. If you have your prospect spent those 3 seconds on trying to figure out what you’re saying… You’ve lost them

When it comes to delivering your ad copy….

  • you’re not talking to your peers and colleagues,
  • your are not trying to win a writing competition,
  • you are not writing a textbook, or even an article…

You’re trying to do the following:

First, to get your prospects attention (Talk about their desired outcomes)

Second, to clearly and quickly explain how your service provides the outcome your ideal client desires. All while addressing their objections.

So, if you find your ads aren’t working, look at these first before you continue testing iterations of your ad:

1. Audience
2. Offer
3. Copy & Landing Page Design
… in THAT order
